FORTY-FIVE thousand addresses in South Australia will have access to the National Broadband Network by the end of this year, putting the massive $36 billion project on track to meet its 758,000 premises target nationally in 2012, the Federal Government will reveal today.
Take-up rates in one of the first sites to be rolled out - Willunga, to Adelaide's south - are also the second-highest in the country with four in 10 homes, or 41 per cent, electing to use the high-speed internet facility.
