Sky News: NBN boss defends take-up rate: "The boss of NBN Co, the company tasked with rolling out the national broadband network (NBN), has defended the take-up rate for the new service, saying telcos elsewhere in the world would be quite envious.
NBN Co has the ability now to connect 18,000 households and businesses in five sites around Australia.
Of those, 5,500 have connected to the high-speed broadband service."
